Exploring Large-Scale Pilots with O-CEI: Data, Openness, and Success Stories

Carlos E. Palau Salvador kicked off the event by presenting the O-CEI initiative, a collaboration of 60 partners from 19 countries, including academia, industry, SMEs, and non-profits. Focused on leveraging data for insights, fostering openness and collaboration, and showcasing replicable success stories, the initiative is driving innovation through eight pilots across Europe. These pilots address energy distribution, EV charging, smart city energy systems, autonomous tractors, and agriculture, building on outcomes from prior EU-funded projects. Open calls will invite new pilots to ensure scalability and broad adoption.
